We offer a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. All kinesiology majors take a set of core courses along with specific courses for their concentration. Depending on your goal, you can select one of three concentrations: Exercise Science, Integrated Health and Movement Sciences, and Pre-Occupational Therapy. Concentrations
The Exercise Science concentration prepares students for:
- Physical Therapy doctoral programs
- Athletic Training master's programs
- Graduate study in:
- Exercise Science
- Physiology
- Allied-Health professional programs in:
- Chiropractic science
- Physician's assistant
- Certification in strength and conditioning (CSCS)
The Integrated Health and Movement Sciences (IHMS) concentration prepares students for:
- Applying to nursing programs
- Careers in:
- Athletic coaching
- Health and wellness coaching
- Exercise and wellness programming
- Corporate fitness
- Graduate study in:
- Kinesiology
- Sports management
- Physical education/adapted physical education
- Certification in:
- Personal training
- Athletics coaching
The Pre-Occupational Therapy concentration prepares students for admission to Occupational Therapy doctoral programs.
